Olympia Snowe will Vote for Sotomayor... Praises Obama Speech
Edited on Thu Jun-04-09 12:38 PM by SuperTrouper
She just called Judge Sotomayor: "impressive, straight forward, intelligent, extremely qualified" She met her last night.

Then she praised Obama on his speech calling him "appropriate" and a good thing for America. "This is the beginning of a foundation of good will and understanding between America and the Muslim World"

Olympia Snowe is dead to Limbaugh, Hannity, Gingrich, Tancredo and the Cheneys...

8. Where does she stand on single payer health care?
If she's for it, let's trade the 'Pukes one of the Nelsons or Max Baucus for her.

18. She is an old fashioned New England Liberal Repub. The last of two in the Senate.
In CT I would trade her for Loserman. At least she is who she always has been.

21. We'll get Snowe, Susan Collins, Ensign, Grassley, Judd, Hutchison,
Kyl, Lugar, Martinez, McCain, and even Cornyn. Sotomayor will get probably 70-75 votes and will be confirmed easily.
