11. Obama has popularized the Solstice Goji Bar
Edited on Thu Jun-04-09 05:02 PM by Arugula Latte
They're made in Corvallis, Oregon. There was an article in the local paper, The Oregonian, about how Obama likes the kind with dark chocolate and goji berries in them.

"Solstice Goji Bars are vegan, made with many organic ingredients, and packed with whole grains, seeds, nuts, fruit, fiber, protein, and antioxidants. They are made with minimally processed natural ingredients, so they don’t contain “isolated” or “fractionated” ingredients."

3. from the wrapper it looks like my daily frenemy:
Edited on Thu Jun-04-09 03:07 PM by musette_sf
Think Thin bars.

"frenemy" because they are gluten-free, sugar-free, and contain 20 grams of protein... the taste, not so great (except for the Chunky Peanut Butter flavor).

5. when your weekly car cleanout
Edited on Thu Jun-04-09 03:21 PM by musette_sf
involves handling and disposing of 5+ or so of the same torn, folded wrappers, every week, you gain even more familiarity about your frenemy...

ps... just did a visual inspection of my torn, folded wrapper from this morning's "breakfast"... and i am able to discern (1) yep, it's a Think Thin wrapper, and (b) Obama is a lefty. i open them from the right side, he opens them from the left side.
