1. Ehh...he 'loved' him a lot the night of the Dem Convention too
I get the 'busted clock is right twice a day' sense of him, but he's a blowhard bigot at his core.

Buchanan's defense of one particular old white man - LePen - in 2002 was my first introduction to him. He is just ugh.

10. He may have received a lot of blowback from the suits after his
tirade of a couple of days ago on Hardball. That was a disgusting exhibition, even my repuke acquaintances were shocked and disgusted by him.

7. It was a special on nbc. Obama says he doesn't pay much attention
to the talking heads. I think he even mentioned Buchanan.

9. He said each side has a role to play - he knows what Buchanan will say and what Olbermann's
position will be so he doesn't have to watch. It was quite dismissing of all the criticism and all the praise at the same time.
