The campaign is over, and Obama is now actually the president. John McCain is not the president. Every day that goes by, that criticism gets just a little bit more dated.

I remember an episode of the "West Wing" where some general was kvetching that President Bartlett had never led an army (mind you Bartlett was now in his second term), and Leo McGarry, the Chief of Staff, snapped back and said "he's led one for five years now".

A lot of Republicans questioned Bill Clinton's experience in 1992, and this continued for some time even after the election, but I remember that such criticisms tapered off after about 3 or 4 years.

2. Well, with Clinton, they started focusing on a particular type of experience that he clearly had.
;-)

But the "inexperienced" President Obama has run rings around the foreign and domestic policy of the last eight years. So if Obama is inexperienced, his administration is wonderful testimony to the value of inexperience.

But in reality (as opposed to where the GOP dwells), the American people as a whole, two-thirds of the electorate, recognize and approve of the experience that Obama has gotten in just a few months in office.

3. How long are they gonna be able to play 'no experience' AND 'everything is his fault'?
They can't have it both ways. ;)
