1. I'm ashamed of myself that I am laughing my ass off. But Graham eating the chip did me in.

2. Those guys are doing the dirty work for the administration, you know.
They're also providing cover for the liberal factions in the House, who will "fight like HECK" but eventually say "Well, we tried, but they stood firm, and ya know, we had to move this legislation, so, you know, we had no choice but to cave."

It's a big Kabuki Theater Show.

4. You DO understand that the administration does not want those pics released?
Surely you aren't thinking that mean old Lieberman and farty old Graham are acting alone?

They got the memo from the Executive Branch.

11. Actually I heard the images of rape and abuse were found to be false.
The images that Obama is talking about are the images similar to those in Abu Ghraib.

13. Read Seymour Hersch's account; he describes the rape.

On edit: There are apparently two sets of photos out there and that probably explains the confusion.

10. That's not true. In an article when O met with non-profit activists.
He stated that he would like to release the pictures at a later date. When most of the troops have returned home.

5. MADem is saying that nobody in the party wants to release the pictures
And the "bad guys" are the ones who publicly appear to be stopping it.

12. Obama is caught between FOIA and the military that doesn't want the photos released.
The military is begging President Obama not to release the photos; they are convinced it will put the soldiers in harm's way. The compromise, of course, is agreeing to a thorough investigation (hopefully leading to prosecution) which I think is the optimum outcome.
