Was the Holocaust shooter crazy?
Individuals with a temporal lobe tumor or lesion are often
said to have a temporal lobe personality. Aspects of this
particular personality are that they may be more likely to have
aggressive outbursts, overemphasis on trivia, pedantic speech,
egocentric, preoccupation with religion (www.brain
place.com/bp/brain system/temporal.asp).

2. I didn't know he had a tumor. I just looked it up. Yeah, both shooters
could have brain damage.

12. So far he made it through surgery. He's not going anywhere yet.
I want him to pay for his crime.

4. This is his second attack . He served time for a 1981 attempt to
take members of the Fed hostage. He maintains a Neo-Nazi web site that advocates violence that the Southern Policy Law Center has written about. He is a known entity to those who follow hate groups.

I am not making an argument for his sanity but his violent hatred is nothing new.

7. Under the influence, for years.
Maybe not in 'control,' but able to tell difference between right and wrong, and to cooperate with counsel.

11. Yes
Maybe not in a DSM IV type of way - but he is obviously VERY wrong in the head.

My prayers go out to family of Stephen Johns.

13. "Crazy" like what? Hearing voices? Probably not. Crazy like
far removed from "normal" society? certainly. He is a hater who got deeper and deeper into delusion, and then wondered why he was alone.

He is NOT legally insane - His former wife stated he had NEVER had any type of mental health problems, and they would have showed up long before age 88.
