2. Heck of a lot better than McDonnell, who would be very comfortable on FR.
The other two Dems wouldn't have had a prayer in the general election, especially Moran.

4. But, Wouldn't It Be Nice
if we could get progessive Dems rather than the type Deeds is? I know, I'm dreaming, but dreaming is good....:)

9. Of Course
But I would rather, personally, they didn't like "our" candidate.

3. Excellent. I heard him on Bill Press this morning. I think he has the mojo to win.
He mentioned the support he will have, two Democratic Senators, the DSSC, the President, a majority of Democratic Congresspeople.

I am confident he will win.

10. Wise County, Virginia needs a governor who cares about the environment
We are being bombed, blasted and bulldozed right into 3rd world America. http://www.wisecountyissues.com/?p=138 Appalachia can't stand anymore of the progress and prosperity of mountaintop removal.

11. Excellent news.
As conservative as Deeds may be he's still better than any wingnut in that seat.

12. Washington Post said yesterday McDonnell 'has connections to religious broadcaster to Pat Robertson.
Edited on Thu Jun-11-09 11:48 AM by flpoljunkie
During that campaign, Deeds and McDonnell took a few swipes at each other. A McDonnell ad contended that Deeds had been lenient in his handling of some child abuse cases as a local prosecutor. Deeds countered with an ad that told viewers about McDonnell's connections to religious broadcaster Pat Robertson.

13. RAS
Considering they claim the public trusts Republicans more on Econonomy and Ethiscs(yeah right the public thinks Cheney and Gingrich
more ethical than Obama and wants more Taxcuts for wealthy more deregulation for Busnesses and wants all the GM and Chrysler workers to lose their jobs) I think we should wiat for another pollster. However Deeds can win,and since New Jersey governorship In
danger of flipping we need to keep this to keep Republicans from saying this Is a comeback for them.

14. Rasmussen does not do a good job on their issue polls IMO, BUT
I think they are pretty good when it comes to candidate polls. I never really had an issue with them and their senate, governor, house polls.

15. Deeds
Still good news for him.I believe he Is already In a bit better shape than Tim Kaine was In 2005.If I remember correctly he didn't lead untill the Republicans negative ads against him.If he can appeal to his base and those who turned Virginia Blue In 2008
come out he can win.And with the possabilty Corzine could go down In New Jersey we need to keep Virginia or else have to listen to
Republicans say this Is rejection of President Obama and the first sign of a comeback.

16. Wow. I sort of expected but not quite this huge.
This is great news and must be terribly discouraging for the Republicans. Now to fend off the GOP dirt machine until November.
