This jackass in South Carolina who made the gorilla comment about Michelle on Facebook got me thinking. He made a non-apology apology and now we are all supposed to just forget about it and move on. But I wonder what will happen when the next racist remark is the granddaddy of them all---the N-word.

And I am not talking about private conversations, but rather, some fat, old, white-haired man (most likely it would be a man, anyway) who gets caught using the N-word on TV, radio, or perhaps a Twitter or Facebook post to refer to either the President or the First Lady.

I would not be surprised if it was a state legislator or some local party hack. Or it could be some Republican back bencher in Congress, or some pissant 25-year old staffer on Capitol Hill.

But mark my words, it will happen.

1. Who cares.

It's just like saying shit,f**k,bastard. It's a word. It's gonna be used like any other cuss word.

People will not stop using the word so why bother? You continue to give it life by throwing out there every chance you get.

2. I'm surprised it has not happened already...
My money is on Pat Buchanan given the right topic and making him mad enough to say something, well...

5. Well, I still worry about them getting smart and making a comeback,
but given the latest racist shit out of the Tennessee GOP, they still seem bent on destroying themselves.
I think we should leave them to it - they are doing a better job destroying their party than we Democrats ever have.

I see they are down around 20% ov voters now, heading into the teens.
How long till they no longer qualify as a major party?
Will they still have their idiot talking heads all over TV when they represent 15% of the voters? 12%?
Where is their bottom?
