Are all the anti-Letterman
pro-Palin attention whores gone now? my God! I've been here since before the 2004 Election, and I have never seen such a "troll war"!

Maybe we're doing something right? Why else would they target us?

Food for thought.

5. That was too funny.
Keith knows that this guy (who is part of the mastermind behind the teabagger protests too) is just out to get people fired, any which way he can, for not toeing the wingnut line. But when he experiences FAIL in one of his protests, he skedaddles and moves on to the next.

2. But this isn't about being a media whore!
It's about the Palin daughters' low self esteem. Who can she blame it on now?

3. The oddest "troll war" I saw here was the fight about those
Yearning For Zion creeps who married all the underage girls.

Several people came in to defend them on so-called legal grounds. I usually stay out of those fights, but I did involve myself in that one. It was bizarre.

Where did all those people go? I haven't seen any of their posts since. (snicker)

6. Why was that bizarre?
The "so-called legal grounds" were that the group of women in question shouldn't have just had their children snatched away from them by social services because one girl came running in from nowhere (they couldn't even be sure it was from YFZ) claiming abuse.

Plenty of legal ground there to stand on--unless you think social services should be allowed to snatch anyone's kids away from them on the flimsiest of "evidence."

And just in case you're wondering, the women won. They got their kids back.

It was never about defending the "creeps." It was about defending the mothers whose kids were taken away.

And the people haven't gone anywhere. So you can quit snickering.

Ummmm... yeah... lawyers. The YFZ folks largely won.

8. The "Anti-Letterman" stuff is helping Letterman's ratings more then anything else..
And the funniest part for all of the people on the letter-writing campaigns to CBS is the fact that he OWNS the show.. as well as Furguson and a couple of others on CBS I believe (and Something about Raymond too). So, unless CBS wants to shell out Millions & Millions to pay out his contract a few years early, and then sit with no talk show for a year or so until they fill the spot.. Dave's not going anywhere.

And, this is clearly reflected in his bits.. "Top 10 things overheard at the "Fire David Letterman" Rally". When he was interviewing one of his guests last night the guy said that the film was based in Alaska, but they didn't actually film there. Dave said, Have you ever been to Alaska, and the guy said "NO". Dave goes "Yeah, I don't think i'm heading there anytime soon either"....

Believe me.. when he has a bone to chew on... and he will chew the same bone OVER AND OVER AND OVER.. he's actually quite funny. He's going to get a hell of a lot more out of Sarah Palin, then Sarah Palin will ever get out of Letterman!

9. I still haven't heard the joke or jokes that set this "controversy" off
I flipped through Fox News last night and saw them playing some other network's discussion of supposed anti-Letterman protests.

I really don't know what this story is about. Too busy working and taking care of my home.
