Question: What can WE do to help democrats with message discipline?
Just saw Mathews segment on Obama poll numbers and it LOOKS like the thing that independents didn't like was the deficit. Well shit, hell and SNOT!!!!!!!!!!!

The last 3 reThug presidents own 75% of the nations dept!!

Deficits NEVER EVER mattered when they were running up the national debt!!

Why do the matter now? Because the democrats have lost message discipline on the subject and let the Lazy ass'd MsM and reThugs frame the debate instead of being out in front.

This one was simple; "we have to spend because Bush fucked things up so bad" (wash, rinse and repeat every 3rd breath for the next 4 years).

But no, they can't do this...even Obama can't seem to remind people enough times WHY we're spending so much money.

What can WE do to help them?! I mean, Thom Hartmans book couldn't be more simpler....

1. Maybe we could elect Democrats who actually *believe* in something
Just a thought...

2. Yeah, I'm starting to understand why reThugs get elected. They may be thoughtless but they at least
...genuinely believe in their illogical positions.

3. Seems to be a perpetual problem.
They've heard from 'framing' experts, but either refuse are incapable of implementing.

4. I'm still holding out for the "they just haven't been told" reason why they aren't doing the little
...things when it comes to communicating positions and why reThugs guest on talking head shows still outnumber them 2 to 1.

It's just...so...deflating to think they're whistling past the communication grave yard on their way to work as if showing results is all it takes to win elections.

Surly someone in the Obama admin can catch the "Bush screwed everything up" softball...

7. Nothing at all. I think that their is such a wide array of opinions in the dem leadership etc
that they just can't agree on a talking point philosophy. Also they need a think tank or committee that they all use to formulate ideas. They just don't have the money or will to make it happen. I swear they really would rather not be in charge anyway and have no desire to push pubs off the cliff.
