Funniest Jeopardy answer ever. Tonight on Championship Jeopardy.

The woman, "Sam" (a graduate student), must be a DUer. I wasn't paying that much attention to the clue, but it had something to do with Cheney and Ashcroft. Her answer was, in the form of a question: "Is it because they are both Dicks?" Alex Trebec didn't know what to say. She scored a big one, on purpose IMHO.

The clue was something like "Nickname for male members of administration including Cheney and Ashcroft" and her answer was "Dicks"? She could have been being a smart ass, she could have just meant in terms of Cheney's first name.

I'd like to say outright that she was a liberal being a smart ass, but I didn't get the impression that it was as obvious as you seemed to think. I could be wrong.

But I do think she was jabbing. Did the clue really include the term "male members"? Maybe the judges should reconsider her astute answer: "Dicks," indeed!

5. Well, mine is clearly no better...

Underpants was kind enough to post a link to the actual question.

I still think she was more taking a stab at it based on Cheney's name than issuing an outright dig. It would be nice if I were wrong though.

I don't think she meant that. But it was absolutely priceless!!!

This was after I freaked 'cause I missed Jep on Friday and I thought Ken lost. Then realized it was Tournament time again. :( I want to see his farewell!
