Poll question: What GOP presidential candidate will karma strike down next? I'd say our odds are looking good!
Seriously - is this stuff for real? Of course it is! They're the party of hypocrites!

The trail of scandal is hard to keep track of (there's so much), but we'll start with:

Super Tan Charlie©, getting hitched to try and get picked as VP for McSame, to dispel rumors that he was closeted and had a tryst with a man 30 years his junior, who had worked in Catherine Harris' office, and a long-term relationship with Bruce Jordan, a convict. Though not totally destroyed politically, his 2012 hopes have been hurt by the lingering doubts in his own party that even had McCain pass up choosing him to win Florida's electoral votes and picking Sarah Palin, a virtual unknown, that he barely knew!

Then we had Bobby Jindal creepily entering the room & talking like Mr. Rogers, while giving a rebuttal to an Obama address. The speech was utterly panned even by GOP-Faux Noise, and showed his incompetence to stand on the 'big stage' of national politics -

And last week we had John Ensign having to tell broken-hearted Rethugs everywhere that he had cheated on his wife -

Now we have another 2012-would be contender running off on an international fling on Father's Day week, leaving his 4 boys behind, and a wife left to lie on his behalf. What's a good Rethug to do? Who is left to carry the guaranteed loss in 2012 on their behalf?

"THERE ARE MORAL ABSOLUTES", Sanford said in admitting his affair, "I JUST DON'T FOLLOW ANY OF THEM, AND, BY THE WAY, THE GAYS BEING FREE TO ROAM THIS COUNTRY DESTROYED THE SANCTITY OF MY MARRIAGE"

So, what GOP hopeful for 2012 is next? And what scandal do you think they will have?

All I can say is watching them crash and burn feels...

2. LOL... how sweet it will be...
I feel like Cartman licking the tears off the face of a bully-nemesis of his after Cartman dispels of him, and the boy breaks down crying.

I cannot wait for the next one to fall - seriously, this should help usher in decades of progressive rule - the GOP has imploded ever since they couldn't break fully away from bashing the hell out of B*sh's 8 years, and instead defended it! They shoulda pushed hard against him! ha I say thank you Jesus for bringing one of these cruel politicians down after another... these are some of the worst out there. Maybe Jim DeMint or Holy Joe, or Tom Coburn can admit some major scandal next, too! Just to keep their fellow GOPers company, who have fallen.

7. I agree, it's Sarah.
There is definitely something afoot here, lots of rumors and whispers of something really BIG headed her way that she won't be able to dodge through her personnel board as she has all the ethics complaints filed against her.

8. So Palin it is - let's phone it in to the media - she's our bet for the next politician to have a
scandal break. Although, she's had quite a few, I'm surprised so many GOP dolts like her - oh that's right, she fits right into their "evangelical" right wing mentality that made them love B*sh no matter how slurred he'd get from drinking amongst other things...

I agree - we really need her to hang on though!! We want her running in 2012! Easy win. ha

11. As I said in another thread ...
I'm humming the piano riff from the end of "Layla" these days, as I keep thinking of the montage in "Goodfellas" where everybody from the big heist starts turning up dead. It's like the GOP is living that scene. I'm starting to wonder if there really IS somebody pulling the strings on all these! It's just awesome beyond imagination.

And if I had to guess at a GOP person behind it, I'd go with either Jeb (since he has his own personal crime family behind him) or Mitt. Of course, I'm sure it's just luck/karma allowing it to happen, but I like to think about the possibility of it all being orchestrated. Just because it's so fun to think there's more to come. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

12. ok, so you're thinking is along the lines of what my sibling just texted me!!!
he said Darth Cheney is behind these & is either up to something that isn't understood as of yet, or, more than likely is getting rid of the candidates who they don't want screwing things up for them in '12 - I have always felt they really wanna push Jeb & Mittens & then possibly Crist after a term in the Senate which he'll somehow win even though few Floridians I talk to like his decisions.

in the senate it is time for a lot of them to fall. I am so tired of watching the old as men just like the mullahs in Iran trying to tell everyone in the country that what they can and cannot have, all of these people are living in the 19th century.
