Just how far will they go to get Health Care Reform out of the news? Every couple of days a new sex scandal - are they doing this on purpose? Is it planned in advance.

I gotta admit, they're pretty clever, no doubt about it.
Hogging the news to show case how hypocritcal and irresponsible and untrustworthy their party is? You call that clever, when the party overall is trying to derail healthcare reform?
Yep, that will make most people lean toward agreeing with their views on health care reform.
get all the scandals out in 2009, and in 2012, the "liberal media" would agree that "we don't have to rehash old news ..." (despite reminding people of Bill Clinton's "indiscretions" and 40 year old rumors of affairs ...)
