Lindsey Graham: "I am proud of the President"..McCain: "Appreciates" Obama's Iran Stance
McCain-Graham play nice to Obama on Iran:

Two of President Barack Obama's toughest critics on Iran had kind words for him Thursday.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) praised Obama for taking a tougher tack toward the Iranian regime this week.

"I am proud of the president for what he said Tuesday," Graham told reporters. "The fact that he spoke out is encouraging to me."

On Tuesday, Obama made his toughest statement yet in response to the Iranian regime's crackdown of citizens protesting the election.

"The United States and the international community have been appalled and outraged by the threats, beatings, and imprisonments of the last few days. I strongly condemn these unjust actions, and I join with the American people in mourning each and every innocent life that is lost," Obama said in his Tuesday news conference.

McCain, who with Graham had criticized Obama for what he said was a timid response to the conflict, Thursday said he "appreciated" Obama's statement.

Guess who was there by McCain's and Lindsey's side? Well, just the third Amigo, Joe Lieberman...

3. As Rachel showed, no change, but like Chip Reid asked, if change attributed to listening to McCain.
