The worm has OFFICIALLY turned.

I would never normally direct people to Sludge, but at the top of his page reads:

GERTZ: Al Qaeda seen planning for 'spectacular' attack; Intelligence agencies think danger is high to Inauguration Day... Developing...

What more do you need to know that the Repugs are running scared?

12. Buchanan makes sense on one issue only: Iraq
He talks like Howard Dean about Iraq.

But on other subjects he's just another whack job right-winger.

14. Pat Buchanan will never be normal
The fact that he questions Bush on Iraq is Exhibit #1 in the category of "Why true conservatives should despise Shrub"

16. Pat...
...like most of the US population, has views all over the fricken map. Most "real" people do. They don't hold blindly to an ideaology, even when it's obvious it isn't working (see: Bush & Iraq, the economy, the environment, etc). Some people pick one or two "core issues" or "principles" and then try to keep the rest of their perspective "consistent". Most of those that try, fail.

I've seen Alan Keyes "make sense", but that guy is loonier than the guy down the street that smokes guano. Pet, I mean Pat, Buchanan, has, at times, waxed "sensical", but it's far more frequent that I find myself going, "What did that man just say, and why hasn't someone hit him in the eye yet?"

22. Pat's World
Pat seemed pretty jazzed up over the prospect of Dan Rather's demise.
Not content with the injury to Rather and CBS, he was leaping up and down to connect all this to the Kerry campaign. He tried six ways to Sunday to get Chris Matthews to speculate the same, but Matthews just laughed at him and wasn't having any of it. For tonite, anyway...

19. "but Pat has these FREAK'S numbers!!!" Um, because he is a Nazi?
It takes a freak to know one I guess!! Pat is funny because he realizes what a stupid waste of resources Iraq is.

3. Of course we should worry about al Qaeda!
Edited on Mon Sep-20-04 11:54 PM by xray s
Bush let them get away at Tora Bora. He diverted resources from the hunt for al Qaeda to Iraq to fight a war we didn't need to fight. Bin Laden has had three years since 9/11 to plot another attack on American soil.

George Bush should be tried for treason!

13. I won't be satisfied until the entire Bush cartel is in prison for treason
and committing the felony of misleading Congress to get approval to go to war (see John Dean's discussion of this point).

15. Al Qaeda just borrowed Santa Claus' sleigh
and is gonna give you a big surprise down your chimney.

Al Qaeda is a myth almost on par with Santa. Yes, terrorism IS real, but so are all those gifts under your tree.

21. Maybe Kerry should point out that all these threats must mean that Bush
hasn't waged a very effective war on terror!! Of course, Kerry has said that there are more terrorists, etc. ....but link it now directly to all these "threats"...wrap it all up in a nice package, with a ribbon....
