What impact, positive or negative will the Novak article have on the
election?

http://www.suntimes.com/output/novak/cst-edt-novak20.html

I am thinking this cant help but hurt Bush because it's saying exactly the opposit of what he had been saying about staying the course in Iraq because Bush is such an great unwavering, moralistic, leader who knows exactly which wrong road he want to take the country down. Why would Novak come out with this now? Do they have something up their sleeve?

It seems the idea that Bush would be better to handle Iraq than Kerry just falls apart now that they are admiting defeat? Give me all your thoughts on how bad this hurts Bush and in what way? Will this bring Bush's handeling of terrorism and Iraq down to below Kerrys numbers if it stays in the news? How big of an article will this become?

1. These people would continue to shill for Bush
if he was caught with his head up a mule's ass wearing womens' underwear. That's my take on it. Shrub is going down the tubes, and even McClellan won't be able to spin his way out of this one.

2. Novak's article reminds me of a quote about Vietnam
Some politician, I forget who, suggested that we ought to just declare ourselves the winner and leave. It would definitely throw a monkey wrench in Kerry's campaign strategy. But it would be truly disastrous for the Iraqi people. What a scumbag if he's even considering it.

says. This is just part of the ploy to make Bush look better before the elections. Unless, of course, they plan to bring the troops home via Iran.
