5. Not sure how much more of this I can take
Novak commits treason by naming a CIA agent.

Dumbya's LIES have resulted in the deaths and injuries of thousands. The exact numbers we can only guess.

And a poll asks if Rather should be fired?

Whatever Dan did it did NOT endanger anyone.

I support John Kerry. I oppose George Bush. I don't give a fuck about Rather except insofar as his behaviors affects the Kerry vs. Bush race.

Rather violated the most basic rules of journalism and through his rank incompetence has made the Kerry campaign look bad, even though the Kerry campaign is absolutely blameless.

It's CBS's business whether to fire him, but as a Kerry supporter I certainly hope they do.

The only argument for keeping him (from my perspective) would be that firing him would make it an even bigger story. But it would also personalize the story and help compartmentalize it. It might also put the fear in a few Republican leaning TV people to not run whatever documents they are handed by political operatives during the last weeks of this campaign, lest they be victims of tit-for-tat outrage. So even in that narrow sense I'm all for dumping him.

12. Bullshit. They're not running "should all anchors who ran SBFT be fired"
polls. The message is loud and clear. Don't question BUSH authority.

13. They should ALL be fired
Of course everyone who ran SBVFT shit should be fired. And Rather should be fired.

Everybody who does some fucked up anti-journalistic thing that harms the Kerry campaign should be fired.

11. Done.
I thought that was a nervy question for one news network to ask about another. Where was the media when the coWard-in-chief knee-jerked our country into war? That issue was accepted at face value -- with no investigation at all; now they have time to push this issue as a major scandal.

Our media is no better than grocery store tabloids when they focus on creating sensationalism rather than what matters most.

17. Done. There is also a convenient form on that page...
to give MSNBC direct feedback.

I pointed out that the repubs need to grow thicker skin and stop whining and bullying everytime someone questions BushCo. (This is the short version. :-) )
