I couldn't believe what Bill Maher quoted Rummy as saying:
Rumsfeld said, "At some point the Iraqis will get tired of getting killed."

He actually did say it last week at a speech in Missouri. It is view on why he is optimistic about Iraq.

1. Oh sure, that'll work
just like it's worked with the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, just like it always works. They're just not "tired" enough yet.

I can't believe these people are in charge!!!!

3. This was the strategery used in the slaughter of Native Americans
The US government just kept slaughtering them until a certain point where they got tired of getting killed.
It made sense then.
It makes sense now.

7. Remember when chipmy stole the election
and the press was telling us he may not be the smartest guy in the world but he will surround himself with a lot of smart people. My question is where the hell are these allegedly smart people?

8. It's a little too late for that once they're dead, though.

I mean, I suppose he might be right that in that split second before life slips away from them entirely after having a limb blown off they could very well think, "You know, I'm getting tired of this dying thing."
