Lesson to learn: how the MEDIA PAINTED Gore the loser of the 2000 debates
when he won all the the debates. Everyone knows Gore won all the debates.

Its not even something to boast about. Its just hard cold fact.

Gore knows issues and George Bush was not equipped to go up against Gore.

But the media had an agenda in 2000.

Very much like they do today!

1. And they'll do to Kerry what they did to Gore
Whether it works this time or not, is yet to be seen.

2. we all know that.... I'm worried more about computer voting
than everything else...the polls are rigged with the media.

But..in talking with people...there are many repugs who will NOT go for awol.

That leaves "theft".

3. I wouldn't say "everyone knew" ...
... debate results are all a matter of opinion. Everyone has a different criterea for whats a good performance.

In my opinion, Gore screwed up after he toned downed for debate two. Everyone "felt sorry" for Gore. And they were saying how it would turn off females who found Gore "too aggressive".

Well, Gore backed down and he fed right into their whole "chameleon Gore" storyline. Bush won because Gore didn't stick to his guns and allowed the Bush campaign to paint him the way they wanted him.

Kerry should go for the jugular. And after they paint him as a "big meanie" he should rip off all of Bush's limbs. In the third debate, Kerry should dissect those limbs and show all the rotten black maggot flesh that Bush is made of.

Like Jim Hightower says, the only thing in the middle of the road is a yellow line and dead armadillos. Why change presidents if the current one doesn't suck big ones. Kerry has to make this distinction. He has to go negative and criticize the president for every little mistake he made while making it clear what HE would have done.

Kerry has to paint Bush as a man of low mental and moral standing. He has to make Bush out to be Forrest Gump's evil twin brother. This doesn't require bending the truth. It just requires be VERY frank, and VERY honest.

The media will criticize him for it. And the MORE the media criticizes, the MORE Kerry needs to beat on Shrub's godawful record.

4. It's going to take a lot of guts.
But Kerry has to be strong and unrelenting.

8. GW Bush ...
... has plenty of guts to be ripped out and force fed to his self (metaphorically).

The media is going to paint Kerry as a weanie and a flip-flopper anyway. If he's going down, he might as well take Bushie with him!!!!!

7. When you have a media promoting and defending a Republican agenda,
Its really irrelevant who's debating, isnt it?

They have already made up their mind who the winner is.

Opinion has NOTHING to do with it as far as the media is concerned, although of course they love to claim it is.

6. What do we do?
When it is more important how Tim Russert and George Stephanopoulus react to the debates than what actually happens in the debates, what can a candidate do?

Screaming from the wings works a little (that's how the RW got us into this corner), but I'm worried.
