Leave the family at home.. invite them to the swearing-in.

I suspect that the family reunion stuff started, to try and dissuade the "speech-ifiers" from trash-talking the candidate, if their families were there.. Sarah Bernhardt Mrs Alito tried to show us all how painful it was, even if it was probably only the peeled onion in her hand:)

15. You know, to make politics more interesting, they should - at random intervals -
have someone flash their parts across the room.

That way, it's guaranteed nobody will fall asleep... and many political venues do this sort of thing, figuratively and in one or two cases it's done literally too.
