Lou Dobbs REALLY goes off the deep end?
I know Lou Dobbs has played the "angry common-sense independent" role for years, but always thought he kept things fairly straight-laced...until now:

Joining Lou in the Independent Nation on Wednesday will be Orly Taitz who represents Major Stefan Frederick Cook discusses the lawsuit brought about by her and Major Cook which questioned President Obama's legal citizenship in the United States. Ambassador Alan Keyes, Americas Independent Party 2008 Nominee for President discusses his own lawsuit against the legal citizenship of President Obama.

I know his radio material and TV program are in separate spheres, but do you think CNN knows that this is what their "talent" is doing?

1. He's a racist. He doesn't really try to hide it. There is a reason his ratings are in the toilet
CNN appears to be ok with them being there.

Lou Dobbs' Ratings Down, May Be Replaced on HLN

Lou Dobbs' Ratings Down, May Be Replaced on HLN

The New York Observer's Felix Gillette writes about the decline of Lou Dobbs' ratings on CNN, as he continues "the nightly slicing and dicing of the 44th president's economic policies."

Mr. Dobbs' 7 p.m. program on CNN averaged 657,000 total viewers and 181,000 in the key 25-to-54 demographic — numbers that were down a whopping 29 percent and 27 percent, respectively, versus May of 2008. Along the way, Mr. Dobbs sank into third place in his time slot, trailing Fox News' Shepard Smith by a bundle and MSNBC's Chris Matthews by a sliver. During three out of the first six weeknights in June, Mr. Dobbs' place in the standings sank even lower; he finished fourth in the demo, falling behind HLN's Jane Velez-Mitchell.

Meanwhile Dobbs' 9pmET HLN hour appears to be in jeopardy — Broadcasting & Cable reports HLN "is bringing in a new voice for the 9 p.m. hour...the new personality, likely to be announced this week, is described as someone who is from outside the cable news business, but is well-liked by many and disliked by some."

An HLN spokesperson tells TVNewser: "We're not commenting."

11. I'd watch Matthews or Shep before I would *ever* watch Dobbs.
He is not welcome on my TV screen.

13. Just as MSNBC has Buchanan as their resident racist homophobe...
CNN has Dobbs. It seems both networks feel the views of the racist homophobe MUST be represented regardless of how it makes their networks look (racist and homophobic, imo). The key difference, overall, is MSNBC also has Rachel, Keith and Ed while CNN has.........?
