Kerry Iraq Speech Puts Campaign In "Fighting Mood"
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=1963&e=8&u=/nm/20040921/pl_nm/campaign_kerry_mood_dc

Were John Kerry a baseball player, he'd be a closer--because this is what he's the best at.

By Patricia Wilson

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Reuters) - One speech may not a campaign make, but John Kerry (news - web sites) and his top advisers are pumped up and in "a fighting mood" after the Democratic candidate's aggressive attack on President Bush (news - web sites)'s handling of Iraq (news - web sites).

We are SO gonna win this thing.

7. What's he supposed to say
"Yeah, great guy, that Sadaam. Hated to see him go."

Kerry wanted to do something about Sadaam too. He has said that many time in the past. He wants to fight terrorism too. The difference is he actually knows how to do it, whereas Bush only pretends. Kerry is the Senate go-to guy on the subject.

He would have used war as a last resort, however, not a first resort. He wouldn't have fubared the entire operation. He would have made sure our borders and everything else was secure first. He wouldn't have sent troops without equipment. He wouldn't have rushed to war. He would have finished Afghanistan first. He would have gotten Bin Laden in Tora Bora. He'd have used our special ops more effectively. He'd be using the National Guard to guard the nation (what a concept).

I could go on for an hour.

I deeply wish Kerry had been our president when 9/11 happened. We'd be in such better shape right now.
