Do you want to know why there are not many Kerry/Edwards bumper
stickers around?

The Bush/Chenny supporters are so low and mean-=spirited that they deface the cars with the K/E stickers. People are afraid to use their K/E bumper stickers. the other day my neighbor had her car tires slashed in a Wal-Mart parking lot and her K/E stickers was defaced with fingernail polish. I think this is a pretty good indication of what kind of people support the current regime.

7. Some have said the one bumpersticker is worth a $40,000 ad buy
Edited on Tue Sep-21-04 06:14 PM by JPJones
My car isn't even worth $20,000, so I have no problem risking a $500 paint job for a $40,000 ad buy. That's why I probably drive around with a John Kerry bumpersticker.

8. went up my street and guess what i saw. a kerry edward sign
sittin on a lawn. i stopped the car and just looked, hugest of smiles. then went on home. after picking up boys i took that way home and said, hey, i want you to see something. adn there, was the kerry sign. both boys yell, we have to stop and tell her yea and show our bumper sticker, so i back into driveway so sticker can be seen.

we ring the bell and wait, and neighbor say, owner is in back yard. told neighbor, just had to embrace her kerry sign in the yard

the woman at first was hesitant, but as we tell her how good it felt to see that sign, and the huge smile she put on our face, she told me, she was a little afraid to put it up. was good to hear from me.

ya i say, my husband owns a business, i cant. adn she shook her head in agreement

but so good to see. and hear a lot say they are afraid. also before i put sticker on, asked a fundie, are you afraid to put a bush sticker on car

no

do you think maybe there is a reason for me to be hesitant putting a kerry sticker on my car

well, she thinks, ya she says, i can see you not wanting to do that

do you think there is a problem there i say.............

9. I see tons of K/E stickers around here
and I live in a deeply red state (Kansas). I'd say they outnumber the * stickers at least 2 to 1. I see way more yard signs for Kerry also. It definitely makes me smile every time I see one :)

10. Fight Fire With Fire....
Whilst I DON'T condone defacing/destrying anyone's car....
I'm not above placing ANOTHER sticker on the bumper

<---- I'm with Stupid

placed just to the right of the BC04 sticker usually does the trick. (and the morans probably won't notice it for a while either!)

To quote that wonderful cynic Sid Dabster...Ahh. You must have just entered mid-life. Isn't it cool how treachery just seems right? :)

11. Shame about your neighbor, but goes both ways, I'm sure
When I was a kid, in 1964, my sibs and I made a game out of peeling and scraping "AuH2O" (Goldwater) stickers off as many cars as we could get away with. Parking lots were like playgrounds to us.

A group of us neighborhood kids would also sit on the curbs on either side of our street and cheer any cars that drove by with
"All the Way With LBJ" stickers. And we'd boo any Goldwater cars, shaking our fists as we chased them. I'm sure we scared the hell out of some people, and we were just little kids. :D But we never vandalized a car. Our folks would have beaten the crap out of us.

12. This is true.
This is why we don't put them on our car. My husband also teaches at a high school in a rich conservative neighborhood. He wants to appear apolitical in order to keep relations civil with the parents, the students, and the rest of the faculty.

16. You're right
I have a K/E bumper sticker on the back of my car. Right now I'm in L.A. so i'm not that concerned because most people here think like I do. However, tomorrow, I'm driving back to school in Santa Barbara and I'm nervous about driving through Ventura county being that it may not be the friendliest place to drive around with the sticker. There are also a bunch of right wing assholes at my school who are vicious. At least my car is crappy. :)

18. I put mine in with velcro tabs on the back window of my station wagon...
When I park the car, I take it off and I lay the sticker face-down in the rear cargo area.

Yesterday, I saw a new black HUMMER with a "W 04" oval sticker on it, and I swear, I wanted to smash that thing -- it was **offensive** in every way.

19. Magnetic backing available at www.northernsun.com .85/ea.
allows you to change your sticker to match the headlines.I have my "John Kerry" and "Unidos con Kerry" in my back window and change the ones on my bumper to reflect duh-byas latest blunders. Right now it's "America:One Nation Under Fraud" and "AWOL/ 1972-1973" which is done to resemble the official "Bush/Cheney 04" stickers.
