FYI.

It seems it's from the town hall today with the President.

But given the brouhaha in the MSM re: Obama's remarks on the Gates' arrest, undoubtedly they'll have a question for him regarding this.

Passing it on for those who are interested in catching it.

THESE QUOTES ARE FROM TERRY MORAN'S TWITTER FEED RE: INTERVIEW WITH PRESIDENT

More: "From what I can tell the sergeant who was involved is an outstanding police officer, but...better if cooler heads had prevailed."
about 1 hour ago from TwitterBerry

Obama's direct quote on Gates arrest: "You probably don't need to handcuff a guy, a middle-aged man who uses a cane, who's in his own home."
about 1 hour ago from TwitterBerry

President Obama told me "cooler heads should have prevailed" in the Gates arrest. But he pointedly refused to take back the word "stupidly."

I asked Pres. Obama: Does he regret saying the Cambridge PD "acted stupidly" in arresting Prof. Gates? He hung tough: "It makes no sense."
