4. I think I am with you. I would like to say that this is why I vote-----
I am trying to leave a country better than I came into. I would like to see the Dem. party move back to being a party of the people that have to work for a living. Also being a little more of a Social-Dem, Party.

I hate where the country is.........BUT if it wasn't for SCOTUS I would write in DK's name....I'm in CO which is NOW a dead heat! We lost by 160,000 in 2000....I can't vote for DK and it's killing me.I wonder what Wellstone would do in my place? I cry every night that I can't vote my conscience

8. I like your assessment ... that's where I am pretty much..
First and foremost, I'm voting to keep democracy on it's tracks. I think of all the sacrifices people have made in all the decades that came before us. We can't let those strides be rolled back in one fell swoop. We can't let they early activists down.

I had hoped our society would have moved into a much more enlightened era by now. I'm also saddened that our party has moved too far away from the party of the people; I'm more of a social Dem as well.

I vote to keep this slide, away from this "grand experiment", from going too far, from killing our beautiful America altogether.

I vote to leave a better place; a place my grandkids can feel safe in, proud of, and nourished by.

That's what this election means to me--the continuation of Democracy in America.
