2. too bad there isn't a way to keep that list front and center on DU's homepage

We are the ones most likely to remember & avoid - GM and Pfizer are the most ironic to me - the government sponsoring its own idiotic critics and a drug company not helping the host with some kind of sanity pills.

3. They're not going to miss me..I don't do any of
that corporate shit and the world could do without them advertising hate.

I did sign the petition http://www.colorofchange.org/beck/ to "stop the race baiting", though.

Kelloggs is the one that dropped Michael Phelps for a bong pic but they don't mind advertising hate..fucking hypocrites.

I see Michael eating a Subway on my tv, however.

Thanks for this, P2BLK!

4. Shares
I've got quite a few shares of Nestle. I'll be selling them and sending an e-mail to the company explaining as to why I'm selling.
Its only a drop in the ocean, but every little bit helps.

14. How many of them are subsidies of the corporate media?
http://www.takebackthemedia.com/owners.html">Who owns the media?

The Incredible Shrinking Ownership Group
In 1985, there were 50 companies who owned media outlets. The graph on this site shows that between then and now, the number has dwindled to only six, and if the planned deregulation goes through it'll decline even further. Includes the major media reform advocacy groups.

18. I was waiting for something like this
because I don't care for petitions.

Chrysler - never owned one and now I never will. I prefer Audis.

Procter and Gamble - this is more difficult because they make so many damn products. The compromise is that I won't pay (or pay much) for anything. I'll get it free (or close to free) from CVS and Walgreens when they have those extra bucks and register rewards deals.

GM - same as Chrysler

Pfizer - fortunately I'm healthy so I've never needed prescription drugs.

WalMart - I don't shop at Wal-Mart because I already did associate them with wingnut jobs.

Geico - State Farm. I always had them on my shop around list though, so now they're off that.

Kraft - easy enough to ignore from now on.

Nestle - very easy to ignore.

Campbells - I prefer Progresso anyway.

Kelloggs - My favorite cereal is Post Honey Bunches, but if on the rare occasion I do buy Kellogg's it will be practically free.

Nutrisystem - never heard of it and if I did hear about it in passing, it obviously wasn't memorable enough.
