I Got An Invitation To Go To Arlen Specter's "Town Meeting" Next Week
I'm thinking about going. What do you think I should ask him (if I get the chance)? Do you think I should make a sign, and if so what should it say?

3. Bring a Bullhorn or a Megaphone and
have a sign that says "I will not be shouted down by disruptors who don't want to debate the issue".

4. +1 What Cha suggests and then ask him: "Senator, are you aware of the fact that the insurance
industry is funding/paying for shills to disrupt town halls. Also, are you going to vote for a public option, because the majority of Americans want one?"

6. Great ideas.
I am going to try to get a group of people to go when he comes to my part of the state. Saw CBS news tonight and they talked only about the thugs' message, nothing about the memo detailing how they are to shout down any informative discourse. Tweety was pathetic in the way he covered the story as well. Implying that no one is there to support the reform.

7. Disheartening the way the corporatemedia
has their marching orders. It's up to the real grassroots to make the difference like we did in the Election.

At least we have a leader in the White House now who wants us to succeed..even if corporatemediawhores don't.
