3. How do we combat this?
They seem to be so very organized...

Do we demand that attendees actually be constituents and present ID before they're allowed to enter?

5. Require that people attending a town hall meeting demonstrate
their residence in the district...with a voter registration card, a driver's license, or a piece of mail with a canceled stamp.

9. There ya go..they don't have to be Dems but
they do have to have an interest in debating the health care issues.

12. Yep. Town halls are opportunities for congresscritters to interact with their constituents.
Disruptors of that interaction should not be allowed in the room. Nothing undemocratic about that.

16. Thanks! It occurred to me when I heard Chris Matthews say these
people were being bussed in. There's no guaranteed right to petition anyone but your own representatives.

11. We are having many discussions here locally as to what to do
I will definitely share any good ideas.

So far, most of us seem interested in going and trying to outnumber them so we can shout them down. But I don't know if I like that idea or not.

13. See post no. 5.
Of course, there's no guarantee you won't have crazies in your district show up. But that would keep out those bussed in by the insurance industry.

8. I'd call it "low-intensity terrorism."
It's one thing to have a Tea Party or a Teabagger Party or some other demonstration to express dissent. It is another thing to use thug tactics in an attempt to disrupt, inhibit, prevent, intimidate, silence free speech and public discussion. We all know what happens to Code Pink and others who disrupt congressional hearings. These town hall disruptors should likewise be thrown out and jailed if necessary.

10. I am watching on DirecTV
Question for everyone watching

Did you just see a commercial for henryguns.com?

I am working on my computer in my home office and have the tv on in the background and was startled when I heard gun shots coming from the TV. I rewound the dvr and saw it was a commercial.

I am used to the several Fox Business Channel ads that air daily now during Hardball and Ed Schultz but this one was a new one for me.
