Obama is doing absolutely everything that is possible in this environment.

He has the GOP rioting in the streets for God's sake.

No more "pressure from the left," it could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

If that happens you're complicit with the Repugs in destroying the Obama presidency, which is the biggest hope we've had in decades.

4. Bullshit.
Obama keeps listening to pressure from the RIGHT.

Right wing blue dogs. Right wing DLC. Right wing Wall Street Whores like $ummers and the Keebler Elf. Not to mention Rahm, and his brother the wannabe Medicare corporatizer. And his other brother, the RIAA shill who wants to sue you for what's on your Ipod.

The LEFT is who elected Obama, and we're the ones who he is NOT hearing from because of assholes like Emanuel acting as gatekeepers.

Obama invoked FDR in previous speeches saying that change begins with us and that we should "make him do it".

And I plan on holding him to that. If right wingers have a problem with that, go back to your own goddamn party and quit ruining mine.

You think Obama is not doing enough? He's pushing to the absolute limit.

He "gets it" as well as any of us and he's smarter and has more information than all of us. And he has a brilliant organization working for him.

He has actually pushed the conservatives to the point of civil unrest.

And he's already talking about a "Plan B" legislative strategy that would enact reform with no Republican votes.

Give them a damn chance already.

obama is just some kind of spokesman who is tasked with soothing the masses. Democracy is gone, get used to it. Look at healthcare--complete bullshit with these co ops and mandated coverage with nothing close to a strong public option to keep industry honest-in short another giveaway.

24. When a political dynamic consists of the Center vs the Right...guess who wins?
Well, it doesn't really matter, because you're going to lose.

The Obama administration has every opportunity to build a political alliance with the left that helped elect him, instead of shutting them out and trying to fight fires on both decks. Its the way they are rolling the dice, and they gotta deal with it. Opinion polls simply told em there was far more votes to be won in the center.

not responding so much anymore. Once you tell people you don't even want their input, you can't very well expect them to go out and work and fight for you. If they're going to take a "shut up and take what we give you" attitude, the very most they can realistically ask for is for people to vote for them on election day. And I hope they're not so foolish as to hope even for that if they deliver an abortion of a healthcare bill that doesn't include a robust public option. I'm a yellow dog Democrat -- I always vote Democratic at the general election, but if they're gonna be tools, that's about all I'm doing for them other than slapping on a bumper sticker and putting up a yard sign.

I say we drive even harder. I say we keep pushing. Keep provoking the subhuman sacks of shit until they do something stupid.

Eventually, they will. Eventually, they'll cross the line, maybe with an act of violence, yes, and when that happens, WE SMACK THE FUCKERS DOWN!!!

If they want a war, I say we give them one. There are things far worse than violence.

The rioters on the right are getting all the news coverage, they're getting the ear of the people in power. THe rest of us are being ignored. I think we need to step it up. They're obviously not getting enough pressure from the left if they still insist on getting the Republicans on board. Fuck them they aren't interested in getting something that will work for all of us they're only interested in doing what's best for the insurance companies. There needs to be MORE pressure from the left; not less.
