Gates gets indignant with a cop in his own home and gets arrested, but these thugs can disrupt a public meeting and threaten violence and nothing happens?

No thanks, I'd rather see arrests of people who are actually committing violence. Arrests of anyone doing less than that just plays into the hands of the right wing, who are desperately searching for a reason to describe our President as some sort of tin-pot dictator who rounds up those who merely disagree with him.

I've read the second amendment, and I'm pretty sure that it doesn't say that we have the right to encourage people to hurt someone badly. Maybe you're reading it differently? :shrug:

I'd rather see both. They can describe Obama and Dems any way they want but this is beyond "mere disagreement." Anybody threatening to harm anyone should be rounded up. Have we forgotten Dr. Tiller and online death threats? How about the crazy Pennsylvania guy, also a racist, and his ongoing blog about killing? Let's not forget the crazy Holocaust Museum Killer and his crazy ass racist site. These people are looking for blood and death and I don't know why some kind of weeding out process hasn't been implemented. It may not stop what the screamers eventual want - someone to die, preferably Obama - but at the very least it could stop the free pass to viciously harass they're allowed.
