1. We'd do well not to overreact
to some Twitterpated chickenshit 'warrior' who would pee himself if you even snarled at him.

Real violence at town hall meetings needs to be highlighted, but making a mountain out of this shit heap is just giving him his jollies.

2. Nope.
This guy is inciting violence and the authorities should step in. I doubt that he would get "jollies" from that.

3. I agree... now let me get this right...
Skip Gates gets arrested in his own home for being an 'uppity black dude' and threats of violence are covered under the first ammendment?

The FBI needs to step in. This is NOT acceptable. Something is seriously wrong with this picture.

5. Good point, thank you!
Gates gets indignant with a cop in his own home and gets arrested, but these thugs can disrupt a public meeting and threaten violence and nothing happens?

6. Frankly, the wingnut talking heads would love that
Having the government sweep down and arrest a guy for hiding behind a computer screen while he's advocating his Second Amendment rights.

It would play wonderfully into that "Obama brownshirts" meme they tried to launch last year during the election.

No thanks, I'd rather see arrests of people who are actually committing violence. Arrests of anyone doing less than that just plays into the hands of the right wing, who are desperately searching for a reason to describe our President as some sort of tin-pot dictator who rounds up those who merely disagree with him.

8. Advocating his second amendment rights?
I've read the second amendment, and I'm pretty sure that it doesn't say that we have the right to encourage people to hurt someone badly. Maybe you're reading it differently?

11. The first one was, but the second one wasn't
But that's not the way that Rush Limpballs and Fraud Hannity will report it.

Again, this is just a keyboard kommando at this point. Investigate him, but if all he's doing is saying, "Let's fight fire with fire," that's pretty much what people here are saying as well.

His use of "iamthemob" means he knows that we get alarmed when he uses our codewords. He could have just as easily called himself "bagthis" when we started calling them teabaggers.

10. Well, it's happened in my county and I'm happy about it.

I'd rather see both. They can describe Obama and Dems any way they want but this is beyond "mere disagreement." Anybody threatening to harm anyone should be rounded up. Have we forgotten Dr. Tiller and online death threats? How about the crazy Pennsylvania guy, also a racist, and his ongoing blog about killing? Let's not forget the crazy Holocaust Museum Killer and his crazy ass racist site. These people are looking for blood and death and I don't know why some kind of weeding out process hasn't been implemented. It may not stop what the screamers eventual want - someone to die, preferably Obama - but at the very least it could stop the free pass to viciously harass they're allowed.

9. Actually, I disagree. The recent mass murderers here in Pittsburgh both threatened
violence online.
The Virginia Tech mass murderer made references to violence that were ignored.

I think this twitter threat should be taken seriously, in my humble opinion.

4. These people are human garbage.
And they're going to lose this fight in the end.
