I guess since the Tea Parties were such a failure they need to do something else to stay relevant. I think it will hurt them in the long run. Because Middle moderate america is not going to be swayed by the disjointed shrillness of the whole thing They will understand that is is a small but very vocal minority.
Having said that, They have an absolute right to be heard, but being simply loud angry and riotous makes them look emotional rather than constructive.
There is also a racial subtext here that merges the Tea Partyers with the Birthers. The huge risk they take is that it all will look like the same group. that will be deadly to them. The are unorganized, unorganizable, they have no leadership to run point on a unified message., So you will undoubtedly see Birther and racist signs in the midst of protests against healthcae. That is quiclky going to drown out any sense of momentum the media might other wise say they are having.
That is the fight the Congresscitters ought to pick with the protesters on camera. "Sir,, you need to take your obviouse racist sign and leave this town Hall. Yes sire you.... you should be ashamed of yourself."
