*********** OFFICIAL TOWN HALL THREAD #1 *****************
He's up. Entered to a huge applause. Calm crowd. Enthusiastic. Watching it live on CSPAN.

Looking forward to hearing Obama lay it down today and dispell the lies.

108. It has been very traumatic 'cause I was
sending them to my daughter-in-law on Kaua'i..and I won't try again.

My friend makes the pottery and each time I have to get a receipt from her for the plate(that says "It All Good" on it) to send to the PO on Kaua'i. I insure it for $100.00 and the receipt is for $84.00 ..so that's the one check I've gotten from the PO but one time they said it was too late to file.

So here we go again because the latest happened about two weeks ago. I'm thinking they don't care about The Fragile alerts.

Thanks for letting me vent..very important..It's All Good:)

111. I was wanting to sell some fragile things on ebay but hesitate
I just hate to take a chance on old things getting broken even though I've purchased things and have had good luck.

69. The other good point to make is that...
UPS and Fedex provide services to a limited pool of customers at a premium cost, while the USPS delivers to everybody at a subsidized rate.

78. I like how he pointed out that a Repuke is the major supporter of that "end of life issue" amendment
More than anything these past few days, I was hoping he would touch on that. He didn't just touch it, he took a hammer to shattering that myth.

There was a lot more gray in it during that last press conference. He looks younger now. I guess it could be the light...but I seriously doubt that.

It's never about the truth or facts, those things just get in the way of a good whine/screech.

really big Secret Service agents that take no shit. "you either behave yourself like an adult or you are politely escorted out via the seat of your pants". the repukes once again show us what they are made of.

102. And on MSNBC a GOP idiot is saying how it did seem staged. What a joke.
He specifically asked the audience for critical questions.

Part of me believes that these fools in the town halls disrupting are following the script to such a degree that if put into an arena like today where they are clearly outnumbered, without their script, and forced to articulate real questions based on their concerns, they fail because they simply can't. All they can do is yell, scream, disrupt, and like their party in Congress, they cannot present any thoughtful or realistic approaches/solutions to the problems.

Once again, intelligence and measure trump misinformation and outrage.

so, I rolled over the remote and killed that meme.

Buh bye msm. Charlie Gibbons did a better job of fact-checking and saving the country than these clowns.
