I apologize in advance if it's bad etiquette to reference my post as much as I've been today. My point in doing so is to use a right wing strategy for our benefit. The right constantly co opts certain words or phrases and corrupts their meaning to dupe people into supporting their agenda.

I don't mean we should try to dupe anyone or to corrupt any language but since the term "death panel" has struck a chord with people, let's continue to use the phrase to show people where the real death panels are.

If you follow the link, you'll find testimony from a doctor whose job it was to deny care for a private health insurance company. She talks about how this resulted in actual deaths.

I suggest we continue using this phrase in its proper context.
