You roll your car on an icy road in the middle of the night. You are upside

down, in a ditch, pinned behind the steering wheel, bleeding from the head and the gas tank is leaking...if the local fire department and EMTs show up, I guess you've got to send them away if you don't want the government to come between you and your body.

Well, I guess the government of OK if it is helping us but not the other guy.

This whole thing is so absurd that you almost can't counter it. It is so off the wall that logic just doesn't work.

A co-worker accidentally knocks over a pail of hydrochloric acid.

There's a bear on your back porch, clawing at your patio doors because you cooked fish last night.

There are a thousand different emergency scenarios we depend on government to handle quickly, safely and professionally.

Why healthcare is not covered and paid for just like these other services, is madness.

It's as if they are saying "I've got mine and that's all I care about."

Not all of them mind you, but the one's who are going to these meetings.

I did love how McCaskell had all of them on Medicare raise their hands. Then she said "Okay, how many of you want to give it up?"

No hands stayed up.
