Obama: I'll be a one-termer if that's what it takes

President Obama holds a town hall in Montana today, with tickets going on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cable networks will carry live.

The White House said 1,300 will atend, most general admission. Give Obama credit; these aren't Bush-style faux events as the former prez did on Social Security. Obama's facing the throngs, considerably less adoring than they were back in January.

Meanwhile, Obama told a Democratic congressman from Iowa that he's willing to risk everything on health care, even if it means serving one term.

5. if that's his real position, then he best start focusing on what's really wrong . . .
with our healthcare system, i.e. it's controlled by the insurance and pharmaceutical industries . . .

if he's willing to sacrifice his presidency for a half-assed bill that does little more than insure continued corporate profits, then he's not nearly as bright as I thought he was . . .
