2. Well - 7 months into a Democratic Presidency, after 8 years of republican rule...
I'm ready to never vote Democratic again.

People saying things like that are fucking idiots.

4. Tomorrow there will be a clarification/correction, and the storm will be over
This seems to happen a lot at DU. Fly off the handle at a poorly written headline.

Good analysis here:

We're not reading clearly enough and are jumping to conclusions regarding the public option.

Besides, didn't Obama busting his butt all week to sell the public option in townhalls? Or did I dream that?????

5. Isn't it something? It's as though Obama's town hall meeting never happened.

Then Kathleen Sebelius says, "I think what's important is choice and competition, and I'm convinced that at the end of the day the plan will have both of those -- but that is not the essential element" and it gets translated into "BREAKING NEWS: THE PUBLIC OPTION IS DEAD!"

6. The fact that the Sebelius story was posted about 300 times is proof IMO..
That DU is significantly infiltrated by the opposition.

9. A few days ago someone posted a link to a site that was encouraging people to infiltrate DU.
I don't recall what the site was. I should have bookmarked it.

14. Democrats wish for Big things / Republicans wish for things to stay the same....
so it is no surprise that democrats will be the more likely to feel disappointed and run for the hills when something doesnt go their way....the same is true of republicans when things DO pass and change occurs. So this is all part of nature.
