I am seeing dozens and dozens of long-standing progressives very angry with the President's leadership and policy direction and being very open about their frustration over the White House's dealings with corporations behind closed doors on mortgage bailouts, big Pharma, health insurance, and more.
I've seen many types of posts defending him as someone who really is looking out for us, but lots of posts too from people on here who are true-blue Democrats that have been here years who are very unhappy with him and our Congress.
This has nothing to do with the 2012 election, although I don't feel so certain that he will win it again with with so many people I know getting frustrated (just like all of us, we have dozens and dozens of friends/family/coworkers, and many of mine are growing quite unhappy with the White House, and I find myself defending Obama a whole bunch over the past few months). The question is simply - is he more likely a defender of the people that just has a way of doing things that doesn't accomplish what would be great, but instead is something slightly better than before - or is he working on behalf of protecting big business since they have given hundreds of millions to Democratic candidates and the president over the years?
I won't vote in the poll. Just want to see if from 50 or more folks if a third or more are very frustrated with Obama's Administration, because if that number stays or grows - we will lose our majority in the senate in '10 and a few seats in the house, and he won't win re-election.
