No sarcasm intended.

You took a pretty minor slip on a redirect spun up by the M$M and hopefully demonstrated that we can bring to bear the kind of energy the nutjobs on the other side fighting for the rich to get bigger do every day and twice if it's close to a portapotty.

If this was a trail balloon then it needs/needed to sink like it was inflated with lead and then shot through.

So, again good job on that note too because I'm not dishonest enough to pretend that there is much of a chance that I'd vote for a Republican or 3rd party or stay home (aka defacto voting Republican but doing a desperate firewall to sleep over the next term) because that of course is insane and dangerous. I'm damned hard pressed to see any upside of allowing any more Reich Wing Justices or Judges of all levels and not a single additional super toxic bureaucrat.

Not anytime foreseeably and I don't think anyone that doesn't understand the most simple, everyday, and deep rooted pieces of the machinery that interpret, enforce, and execute laws are at least as crucial as almost any name brand piece of legislation that has gone through.

If you have much sense at all then you can recall the very best Republican President in your life and in good conscience vote for Max Baucus over him. If you recall Ike then I'll give you a pass but in return ask you to take your #2 guy against ole Max (who sucks ass by the way).

Thanks again guys. Keep up the good work! You guys can cry and wring hands to beat the band. It's like having an alarm! Thank you toes burner 2000!!!

2. Sorry, if Nixon ran against Baucus
Edited on Mon Aug-17-09 03:44 AM by tkmorris
Nixon would have gotten my vote. Hell, Reagan might have and that guy was an asshole of stellar quality.

Congress is RIFE with people carrying a 'D' after their name who are anything but. Inhofe et al are idiots to be sure but they are the minority. They can vote against our legislation, I expect them to, but the reason we can't pass anything meaningful is because OUR people won't vote for it. I aint cryin' and I aint wringing hands but I know who the problem is and it aint Republicans.
