Did He trade away a public option today?
he seemed to be hinting he did, without saying it too plainly.

All that talk about how public option was never the centerpiece.

I don't like what I'm thinking.

20. This afternoon I heard a snip of him saying something like public option
wasn't the goal of health reform, just a sliver of it. If that's what you're referring to, I can certainly understand your reaction.

I've been trying to not get worried when I hear reports of what others have said, or interpretations of what was said, but I heard those words (which I paraphrased liberally except he did use the word sliver) from him directly. I am so sad that this has become such a nightmare -- I really thought we, the Dems, would go in there and kick ass -- like the Repubs did to us. :(
