They want progressives to be mad at Obama about health care.

The Repubs want us to be discouraged, upset at his lack of progress, and angry at him for "failing."

They want us to give in, and fight among each other, rather than for true universal health care.

Don't let them manipulate us. Keep fighting for a strong public option, or for single-payer or whatever is most important to you. The fight's not over yet, despite what the conservatives in the media want you to think.

1. They manipulated the hell out of DU yesterday, and it worked.
Lots of us didn't fall for it, but about half of DU did. That's really scary.

I actually find myself hoping that DU is infiltrated because I don't want to believe that we're so gullible. It's not like this is something new.

9. DU is easily manipulated.
Has been for years. I have seen so many people jump off a cliff at the mention of some headline I have come to expect it.

Surely it isn't anything the CBO scored yet, which left millions uninsured.

and reading here it's to late to not let them manipulate us. Once again, we eat our own.

Obama says the public option is just a small sliver and bang, DU'ers and the media spin that to mean it really isn't important to Obama any more when it actuallity, he means that health care needs a MAJOR overhaul and any one part of the overhaul is just a small sliver.

But I've gotten use to Democrats/Liberals jumping the gun. In 2012 when a Republican sits in the White House those same folks slamming Obama now will be sitting here pissing and moaning because NOTHING will be getting done except for more tax cuts for the rich and more wars for profit being started.
