You know, when everybody's got six gun on their hip as they swagger into the local saloon.

I wish there was some sort of popular tv show or something like there was in the 70's with the show Kung Fu. That show constantly showed how stupid that way of life was.

The lessons I learned from that show when I was a kid have stuck with me all these years. And basically that was, the goofus with the gun is a self-absorbed idiot who assumes because he has a gun he is all-powerful.

Take the gun away, and he's nothing.

What I loved about the show was when Caine would snatch the weapon from the dude, and he'd just stand there dumbstruck as Caine would then knock him down with a deft move with foot and hand.
