I hate to say it but,We folded like an accordion on public option.
I had hoped for more fight,
more willingness from our leaders
to put themselves on the line.
Instead they fell into line
like good robots.

I so hope I am wrong
I am hoping for some.
some last minute slap in the face
to shake them out of their stupor

trying not to turn on them
Rage and Disgust are fighting
for control within me

1. We're farther along than we've ever been before in this issue and to give up
now is pointless.

Keep pushing.

2. The public option is not dead......
at least yet.
I'm with Dean. There is no health care reform without a public option. Obama said we would get it and I still believe we will.

5. Obama didn't come this far just to give up...
If you think that, you weren't paying attention.

I don't see how they will ever get them back.

12. Um...why are you still stuck in Sunday's doom and gloom mode?
Step away from your TV (or whatever it is that's getting you down).

15. Have you heard that from the white house?
of course not.

You just keep clicking your heels together and wishing.

I am QUITE skeptical of the O Man. But in case you hadn't noticed - and it appears you don't notice much - there are MYRIAD Dems all over America, including the House and Senate, who haven't given up at all.

All in all, you don't seem that clever, or even awake.
