If you missed him on Hardball, try to catch the replay ~ he lays out the truth of the situation beautifully.

2. Weiner was a terrific advocate. He's the one responsible for getting single payer vote in House.
Especially good with Tweety constantly talking over him and interrupting him.

3. Definitely impressive. He needs to get to a town hall and introduce Obama with the same facts.

4. No, Wiener is making the arguement all in Congress should be making.
The President can help with the pressure, but Congress is ultimately responsible.

5. We'll see where they land when the single payer bill comes to the floor...
He's making a great case ~ hopefully his colleagues are listening.

7. He was very impressive with the facts
It was mentioned that he made an appearance on Morning Joe and gave JS a really difficult time. I no longer watch the show and wonder if anyone here caught it.

He specifically mentioned the public option was the compromise for not getting single payer and discussed the profit debate. That is key for me -- not for profit health care.

Some who are embracing the exchange portion say that is truly the most important plank because a participant can negotiate between providers. But all of these providers will have stock holders, and a portion of everyone's premium will still go to that layer which really provides nothing of value to the doctor or the patient. I think the number I have read is that 30 cents on every dollar goes to that layer.

I hope to see more and more of Anthony Weiner stepping out and telling it like it is.

Sam

10. Just saw the end of the interview. Anthony Weiner was fabulous!
He really didn't let Tweety talk over him at all.

Weiner is a true progressive. He thinks we need public option for cost containment. (He may prefer single payer, but I didn't catch the whole interview.)
