The ONLY clear, concise, financially feasible, easy to explain to all the people bill that is on the table.

This bill will be voted on in Congress.

http://www.hr676.org/

Go out and fight for it.

Let's stop with this endless circular debate of whether we will get a public option and if so, will it be a real public option or will it be written by the insurance companies as a ruse or will obama support it or will we even get it and will it be real or not real & Obama won't or willl or ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!

ENOUGH

Let's ALL focus on passing a GOOD BILL. One that actually EXISTS.

1. It is a good bill, and I support it.
I have said as much in various letters and here. We have to keep saying it.

4. And, with the hopeful news today that bipartisanship may be through - it is time to push

If we don't need to cater to these traitors to the American people, Obama should push the BEST bill through....

And that would be HR 676

2. thank you
had just posted a link on my facebook.
- where some moronic person had the misfortune to complain about losing freedoms when we reform healthcare. let's just say they elicited quite the response from my buddies!

3. Yes! Let's!
I have been trying to understand the actual bill that's being discussed in the house and senate. Yesterday I found H.R. 3200, and a four page summary. The bill's length is given variously as 650 pages and over 1000 pages. H.R. 676 I have printed out--it runs to 11 pages, and I could summarize it in less than one page. In my small corner of the world, I am talking it up, and I recommend it to all. Here is a list of what will be covered:

Primary care and prevention
Inpatient care
Outpatient care
Emergency care
Prescription drugs
Durable medical equipment
long term care
Mental health services
The full scope of dental services (other than cosmetic dentistry)
Substance abuse treatment services
Chiropractic services
Basic vision care and vision correction (Other than laser vision correction for cosmetic purposes)
Hearing services, including coverage of hearing aids

The rest of the bill is a thing of beauty too.

Is that worth fighting for? You bet your sweet bippy it is!

6. Apparently, someone disagrees, the post has been rated down

Why, I have no idea...

Maybe they would prefer a watered down public option or total private mandated insurance?

Bizarre.
