too many people are hyperventilating over idle media speculation and Washington political speak in the news vacuum of the recess. We're still at the same point we were at the beginning of the month, 4 of the 5 relevant committees in Congress have passed legislation with a public option, but it would be hard to tell with all melodramatic cliff jumping going on around this place. Until Congress comes back, and they can't do it soon enough IMO, on Sept 8th it might be a good idea for some here take a vacation or at least lock out news shows/websites.
