Health care will pass. I think our President has a plan.

(OK, OK, I know. The photo on the wall is Ali decking Sonny Liston, not the Rumble in the Jungle against George Foreman. This was taken in Barack Obama's Senate office, and is one of my favs.)

2. Y'know, I've heard this "rope-a-dope" thing 4 or 5 times now on different issues.

...and we still keep getting fucked.

Sometimes, people just get the shit punched out of them. There's not always some grand plan.

5. Great pic of the Prez and Ali. After hearing the OFA strategy session this afternoon

I'm still worried about the President and the Dems giving away the store to the insurance/pharmaceutical industries. President Obama said several times that he strongly supports the public option (to loud applause, of course) but he also said something to the effect that it is only a small part of the picture and the reform is what's really important.

I hope the President keeps his gloves up during this fight.
