I think I just had an incredibly powerful idea for DU (or subset of the community)

Instead of an "I donated" (well, not instead of but another addition to)icon, you have an "I did something" icon.

Maybe you went to a local Democratic party lmeeting in the last week. Maybe you, like I, looked at advertisers for Beck and wrote them, or perhaps you attended a Town Hall meeting to rebut the wingnuts.

You did something, and on your honor, you have the right to display that icon on DU.

Human nature hints that such a combination could be a powerful idea for progressives. I think the thing that so many progressives didn't get was that Obama was not the end of the fight, it's the first time we have been allowed to step into the ring.

We have had our asses handed to us, but it isn't Obamas "fault." Fuck that. We have the ability to help our ideas--to demand accountance. We used this technology in 08 to elect Obama. Let's use it someway new to finally have a progressive future. We must NOT give in or up.

Again these guys are saying "no" and winning. That must stop now.

all the possible activities that people can do, disabled or not, because some aren't able to do things that others can.
