And you? What are you staying home for, escaping from, where are you traveling to or relaxing, or don't get the concept of vacation?

Heh. I still don't have a cell phone or a facebook account. Am I missing something?

1. My dear babylonsister!
Ah, my husband and me already had our trip!

A river cruise through central Europe...

It was fabulous, but I was really glad to come home to my own bed.

If you're happy, sweetie...then you're not missing anything...

2. We have never taken a vacation and gone someplace just to
go there. I live in a vacation spot..no need to go anyplace else. Lake Michigan is a block and a half away and is much cooler here in the summer than most places.

5. I travel all year long, my vacation will be in the back yard...
I've got a little crappy house but on a beautiful river, I started working on the boat dock and deck and yard and hope to make the most of the "staycation".

(insert vacation smilie)

10. Hey babylonsister~ We have that
in common.. "Heh. I still don't have a cell phone or a facebook account I haven't found the need for either, yet.

Glad the Obamas got to visit some National Parks(I saw a pic of them in a magazine with their backs overlooking the Grand Canyon in a shot similiar to one I had in th '60's when Prez was in kindergarten) before they go to Cape Cod.

My sister took me to the FDR Presidential Library in Hyde Park, New York where FDR's childhood home and estate..along with Eleanor's getaway home, Val Kill, are maintained by the National Park Servies..and I got a free lifetime pass to National Parks for being 62 and over.:)

Are you getting away this year? I remember last year when it was so hot where you are you were busting to get outta town.B-)
