Healthcare concessions
Maybe, in the name of bipartisanship, Obama should simply announce that due to the strong feelings of some, he will not support legislation that includes the following features and will instruct Democrats to ensure that they are not included in any bill:

1. Manditory Death Panels
2. The placement of government officials in doctor waiting rooms
3. The euthenasia of children with disabilities
4. Whatever other outrageous lie that comes out of the RW next

Maybe he can simply take the wind out of their sails by saying, OK, you win, no death panels.

1. MSM blaming Obama for over-exposure by his efforts to explain Healthcare reform...

and yet its those silly lies with little evidence that connects with the public instantaneously and the freak out begins.

The nation is filled with gullable, fearful people. And this is why the republicans have power.

I like the saying though: "The American people will always do the right thing after they've exhausted every other possibility".

This tells me that democrats, and especially Obama needs to make their messages mroe concise and catchy...things like "Medicare for All" is a perfect, smear-proof sound bite...it also makes it easier to digest and for those who have it to spread the word about it to others (elder telling younger people).

Democrats needs several new faces in the spirit of Howard dean who can stear the party in that direction because you can tell the democratic party has all the potential in the world to make republicans extinct and the liberal/progressive way the norm.

2. I have been consistantly impressed by Dr. Dean
and wish we had more voices like his.

3. Obama wouldn't need to be "overexposed"
if the corporate media whores on ALL of the 24/7/365 cable outlets weren't mindlessly repeating all of the lies being told about HCR not to mention helping twist, spin, and otherwise distort the debate in the first place. Gawd, I hate the corpo-media!

4. Thanks for the laugh, but...and sadly...
If that actual did happen, all we'd hear from Lou, Glenn, Hannity, Falafel, et al: "SEE? I TOLD YOU he wanted all that!"
<sigh>

(I do like it though! I really wanted Saturday Night Live to do the Ultimate Obama 1st Week in the White House skit where he'd do everything the RW'ers were bleating about throughout the campaign.)

7. Number 3 is non-negotiable.
It's a code phrase for "abortion", in that the RW considers any removal of a fetus, for example one that did not develop a brain stem, to be criminal. They won't stop until "killing children", via abortion, is outlawed entirely.

Be careful what you wish for.
