Obama losing patience with Baucus
You may have read some of this article. But two paragraphs deeper inside it indicate that Obama has a message for Senator Baucus:

In a separate interview, former Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle said Obama is losing patience with negotiations between three Democrats and three Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee, the only congressional panel seeking a bipartisan consensus on a plan to remake the nation’s health- care system.

“He’s waited and waited,” Daschle said yesterday after meeting with the president. “He has indicated, much to the chagrin of people in his party, that virtually everything’s on the table. And he’s gotten almost nothing in return for it.”

3. How can you negotiate with people that won't negotiate with you?
Drop this pretense of the sacred "bipartisanship" and ram it through. The Republicans aren't called the Party of No for nothing. If they do stop it, campaign against them next year. It's the only way.

9. K&R.
Baucus was part of the August delay to set the stage for the insurance companies to scare other Democrats.

He's no friend of the Democratic Party. He's a greased politician.
